Learn to Bellydance  

You will learn: Basic belly dance techniques and a choreography using the steps learned in the class.  The class includes body isolations, Veil work, figure eights, shimmies, undulations, figure 8s, traveling steps, layering  movements, combinations, and body positioning for the best dance posture. 

The Class will incorporate, chest and pelvic movements, undulating, exotic arms, fast and slow hip movements and veil work..   These are all natural to the body and can be learned. 

Classes start slow and as your body gains flexibility move up to the next level of movement.  

The class an aerobic/toning workout designed for women of all ages shapes and sizes. Each dancer will work on expressing themselves more freely and to take the dance and make it uniquely their own.   We let the creativity flow and tap into our feminine power.

Some of the benefits of belly dance include:  Increased flexibility and strengthening of individual muscle groups especially the pelvic area. 

Belly dance enhances gracefulness and posture and improves over all health.

SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO WEAR: Long flowing skirts with elasticized waist bands worn with cut off midriff tops, fringed scarves or coin belts on the hips, loose blouses, leotard or long dresses loose in the waist.  If you enjoy jewelry wear lots of it, adorn yourselves with earrings, bangles and etc.  Be comfortable and festive.  
 

Or you can wear comfortable work out clothing.
